However, 96.7% and 78.4% of B. cereus isolates from rough
and white rice, respectively, were able to produce HBLC products
(Table 5). Another toxin gene, nheA, was found in 98.4%, 92.0%, and
86.5% of B. cereus isolated from rough, brown, and white rice,
respectively (Table 7), but 85.2%, 76.0%, and 64.9% of isolates from
rough, brown, and white rice produced NHEA products (Table 5).
