We can often see Venus after the sun sets or early in the morning, so bright that we call it the "Evening Star" and the "Morning Star." The brightness comes from a thick layer of clouds which cover the surface of Venus. Scientists believe that carbon dioxide(CO2) gas makes these clouds, and that Venus has very little oxygen and water. Because of the clouds, we can not see the surface of Venus, but we think that the temperature reaches about 260 องศา much too hot for us to stay there comfortably. We would need a lot of equipment to keep ourselves cool. But Venus could have many interesting forms of life for us to observe, either on the surface or floating and flying in the clouds.
