3.5. The experiments of heating power over 100 W
The two miniature VCR system was designed to remove the
heating power of 100 W. However, the heat dissipation of the
electronic equipment may exceed 100 W at non-normal conditions.
In order to analyze if the designed VCR system can
remove the heat above 100 W, the performance of the two
systems at higher heating power was studied.
Fig. 11 shows the surface temperature of two heat sinks
varies with heating power at different compressor speed in
series system. It can be seen the surface temperature of two
heat sinks increased with the increase of heating power from
120 W to 180 W, and the temperature increasing rate of heat
sink 2 was greater than that of heat sink 1. The reason was
that the refrigerant evaporated and removed more heat in the
first heat sink, so the first heat sink remained at a relative low
