Gateway had a rather extensive Web site even before it started accepting orders on line, and they continued to offer this support information as they added Web-based ordering. The Web site {see Figure 6-1} now includes a technical support area containing troubleshooting notes and software patches, a computer glossary, descriptions of some of the latest PC technologies, and communications from Gateway’s management. The Spot Shop, a separate online shopping area, offers items such as coffee mugs, mouse pads, and other goods featuring cows-Gateway’s famous logo.
