Comparisons of incoming parents with the parents who had been associated with the program two years or more indicated no differences between the two groups of mothers. For fathers, significant differences were found on the VOS factors Human Nature as Evil, Respect for Authority--God, and Control over Immediate Gratification. The more experienced fathers were more positive about human nature and control over immediate gratification than were incoming fathers; these differences supported hypotheses made. In addition, they had more respect for God's authority and were closer to their wives' positions on these values.
