We share your concern and disappointment with the complaint received and the unfortunate visit we will be receiving today. At this point in time we believe that the complaint with video footage is not from this week but from last week or the week before. The details of who and when can be validated as we progress.
The focus is to deal with this meeting today and how we will progress.
The smoke produced from the factory has been constantly monitored and production adjusted to facilitate the unfortunate situation that the extraction plant is not yet ready or at best functioning adequately.
Factors to address:
- VMS have not delivered to schedule and after the meeting this week I am not filled with confidence that VMS will deliver a solution on the 27th of June that will mitigate the smoke issues we are currently experiencing sufficiently.
- UACJ delivery schedule.
At time of writing we will meet the commitments for the deliveries on the 23rd (50T) and 24th (50T) to UACJ with current stock.
We will not meet any of the committed deliveries scheduled for the 27th, 28th and 29th.
If we start production this evening and run nights only we estimate approximately 10T per evening output rate. In this scenario we would meet the delivery date of 27th June. For the 29th and 30th they would be 5 and 10 days later respectively. I have purposely not taken into account at this point that the extraction system will be up and running and efficiently handling the smoke by the 27th of June. If a working extraction system is delivered on time we can make a conservative estimate of additional 5T per day bringing the output levels to 15T per day.
