2.2. Agro-climatic conditions

The experiments were performed in the field of an experimental area of 1000 m2 in the Botanical Garden “Anastasie Fatu“of Iasi, Romania. Experiments were conducted on a soil with 3.16% content in humus, on a site located at 170 m altitude, with southwest exposure and 2–3% slope inclination.
