A related study of a community sample of 239 individuals who had experienced traumatic events investigated incremental associations between anxiety sensitivity dimensions and post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSSs) and panic symptoms (13). in this study the results differed from the previous one in that anxiety sensitivity psychological concerns (rather than somatic l concerns) were predictive of avoidance. anxiety sensitivity somatic concerns predicted panic symptoms. the authors discuss the shared vulnerability andcomorbidity between(PTSSs) panic which are suggested by the data and previous studies.
