1. Base images are pre-installed in about 40% of hardware by the manufacturer. In the event that the hardware requires a re-image then the technician is required to coordinate with CLIENT and CLIENT will utilise SCCM. In the event that SCCM fails then the technician will need to utilise a bootable USB key image and proceed to migrate the user manually. In case of OS Upgrade where the hardware has not got the OS installed then the technician will follow a similar suit and install the image via USB or SCCM team. Almost 50-60% of the machines will require OS upgrade where FSO engineer has to do the data backup as per the data backup solution finalized for the site. OS installation in all such OS upgrade cases will be done via USB device (offline image).
