Alibaba founder Jack Ma will attend the Asia Cooperation Dialogue Connect Business Forum to be held in Bangkok during October 8-10, International Economics Department chief Chudintorn Kongsak said on Tuesday.
Jack Ma will take part in the discussions on financial technology or fintech with other participants and will meet with representatives of the Thai government and private sectors.
Mr Chudintorn said that the forum, the first to be hosted by Thailand, will provide an opportunity for foreign government and private sectors as well as foreign funds to explore joint investments in infrastructure mega projects in Thailand and, at the same time, enable Thai investors to look for opportunities to expand their businesses abroad.
