Feedback for design #173
As you can tell, yours are some of my favorite covers. You are clearly a prolific and versatile designer.
I'm not sure if I can use the right language to describe what else I am thinking might be worth trying:
1. While I liked the blue/gold contrast, now I find I am leaning more toward the warmer /earth tones. And what would you think of a reddish background (I have no idea if it will work at all).
2. The antique look of the figure works very well, but I am wondering if you would be willing to try making her body the light source, such as #102 ?
2. I always thought red should be in the cover, but none of the designs submitted with red quite worked. Could you envision a cover that uses the color red /black / gold still with light emanating? I don't know—I am not a designer. I like your aesthetic so will trust you whether this is possible or not.
Thank you,
