During the last 2 weeks, I received several serious complaints from customers that our quality and lead time is worse than before and as it was already not good, customer request us to change/ improve immediately otherwise the will change totally to our competitors.
As I mention during the New Year speech, all of you must improve and provide a better work to achieve our common targets and ensure the company safe growth and customer satisfaction.
Unfortunately, we have found repetitively, people violating the rules and regulations of the company and abusing of the trust we place in all of you.
- People are coming late and leaving early which impact the working time and lead time
- People playing their phone, ready newspaper, smoking, etc. during working time which also affects the lead time of our goods and the concentration at work to ensure good quality.
- People working not diligently and mixing tools, package and documents (Customer property!)
- People not respecting customer property by damaging, losing and breaking tools
- People not concern on customer satisfaction and letting work undone before leaving work.
The people making those problems are responsible for the low performance of the entire company and each of our bonus as well as the security of the company to sustain.
Those unprofessional attitude are affecting the company since too long and can’t continue any longer.
The people that break the rules and regulations of the company yare also responsible for the rules below, that will be effective from today 2nd of June 2015 until the situation has improved.
New rules and penalties for BTH employees:
1. All employees:
a) All working start and stop must be register by finger scan incl. lunch and break time.
a1) Sales must also follow the rule while in office
More than 3 late or early leave in any month will cancel your right to get the 13th Salary
More than 10 late or early leave in the remaining year will cancel your right to get the 13th Salary
b) Break time as to be performed according to shift plan or assign from HoD
Unplanned break will result to penalties defined in Company Rules & Regulations
c) Annual/ business leaves must be signed and approved 2 full day in advance by HoD and HR
Unplanned leaves will result to penalties defined in Company Rules & Regulations
c) Phones, Internet, newspaper are not allowed during working time unless assigned from HoD
Misconduct will result to penalties defined in Company Rules & Regulations
2. Operation:
d) Damage, lost and breakage of customer property will be deducted to the yearly bonus of the
responsible person;
IF no responsible person is define, the value of the compensation will be deducted from the yearly bonus from each person in the team.
e) Failure to report any deviation (problems) will result is severe penalty.
For the colleagues that are responsible for those penalties, the should feel ashamed and for the colleagues that worked good until now, I feel sorry that I have to implement it and hope that those measures will punish the wrongdoer and bring all of us a better future.
