Lenovo shoots for top sales in the region
Lenovo, the world's biggest computer maker, is increasing investment in distribution channels in Southeast Asia as part of a cost-efficiency drive to boost market share.
The company hopes to overtake Acer for the regional leadership position.
"We aim to be No.1 in Southeast Asia markets by 2017, up from third place currently," said Harry Yang, newly appointed vice-president and general manager of Lenovo (Southeast Asia).
