As already acknowledged, interpretivism is totally distinct from positivism. Collis and Hussey (2003) claimed that interpretivism emphasises comprehension of human beings rather than causes and effects. Moreover, Bryman and Bell (2011) stated that interpretivism is concerned with the differential roles of humans. Like Saunders and Tosey (2012), the authors confirmed that interpretivism is used in describing natural social phenomena and that it focuses on humans rather than objects.
