As part of our commitment to help children succeed in school, we coordinate a number of scholarships. A scholarship is the perfect way to make the cost of schooling manageable, providing financial support to eligible children in secondary school.
Applications for 2015 scholarships are now open.
Where applicable some of these scholarships are extended to Year 7 students as they move to secondary school from 2015.
James and Rose Coombe Scholarship
Who should apply: Children attending a public secondary school in 2015 outside the radius of 65 kilometres from Perth whose parents/carers have difficulty meeting costs of secondary school education.
Scholarship amount: The scholarship is part of a Trust from the Coombe family. The value of each scholarship depends on the number of successful applicants.
How to apply: Complete the application form and email it to the scholarships coordinator.

Bentley Senior High School Memorial Scholarship
Who should apply: Children entering Years 11 and 12 at Kent Street Senior High School, Como Secondary College and Cannington Community College.
Scholarship amount:
$500 a year.
This scholarship can be extended to a second year provided satisfactory academic progress has been made.

Maud Zervos Education Grant
There are two grants available:
Grant one
Who should apply: Children entering Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 whose parents/carers have a disability and are financial members of the Spine and Limb foundation Inc.
Scholarship amount: $750 a year for up to five years (subject to continued academic performance and commitment to secondary education).

Complete the application form and submit it along with a copy of a 2014 end of year school report.

United World Colleges (Australia) scholarship
Who should apply:
Children entering Year 11 or 12 who are Australian citizens or permanent residents currently living in Australia.
Scholarship details: Students undertaking their final school years at a United World Colleges campus and study for an International Baccalaureate (IB) while contributing to community projects that benefit the local areas.
The Scholarships can be partially or fully funded by United World Colleges Australia and are selected on academic merit, community participation and achievement as well as suitability as ambassadors for Australia.
