Anthropometry Methods
Measurements performed on the mothers and infants included weight, height, length, mid-upper arm circum-
ference (MUAC), and triceps skin fold thickness (TSF); head circumference measurements were done on the infants additionally. All measurements were performed in duplicate by either the principal investigator or the dietitian according to the ISAK methods using the same instruments to reduce inter-observer variability and to increase reli-
ability [31]. Body Mass Index (BMI) was calculated by dividing the weight of the subject by their height squared
(kg/m2).
