Dear Mickey,
I hope that you have been able to read my messages. I also hope that you know that I am not upset with you in anyway. If I ever do get upset, I promise to let you know. You will never need to guess. I think that this is a good lesson for both of us. If one of us ever get upset, we should simply say so. We should not make the other one guess or wonder.
Mickey, I am sorry that you thought that I was upset with you.
I have been wondering about the coffee in Thailand. I like coffee and was wondering how different it might be there.
Recently, I saw a movie called, The Hanoi Hilton. It was a movie about American prisoners of war that were being held in a Hanoi prison during the Vietnam war. It made me think about Thailand. How was Thailand affected by that war? Did you have family in the war? How is Thailand as a result? What were you taught about the war? I am interested in your point of view. Americans often have a very limited view. So I look at this as an opportunity to learn from you. Your country is right there and the perspective must be considerably different from most Americans.
My Dearest Mickey, I have been thinking about you all day. You have become so very important to me.
I hope that you now know that I am not and have never been upset with you in anyway. I have encouraged you to express yourself and to be open.
