The children had been in the cafeteria for almost two hours now. The cops had constantly give out orders for the villains to come out with their hands in the air, but received no such welcome. So instead a few cops were assigned to sneak in and sneak behind the criminals and shoot them with tranquilizer darts. (which she didn't quite understand. That wouldn't slow them down, would it?)
The cops that had been assigned, whether pro or rookie, were all shaking in their boots. None of them wanted to go in, that was for certain, and (Y/N) really couldn't blame them. They probably had families to feed and go back home to, but Arkham Asylum patients wouldn't even give their pleas a second thought if a cop was near death. They'd just end their lives and leave many people fatherless.
Unfortunately this was how the world worked. In every city, in every state, in every country, and in every planet there would always be criminals who would threaten to take one's life without the consideration of who might be waiting for them to return home. This left many children fatherless or motherless, not unlike (Y/N), except (Y/N)'s parents had been killed because they had been experimenting with things that they should have never messed with.
Speaking of which, (Y/N) was never sure what they had been experimenting with in the beginning. Even after the cops showed up, she had no information on whether or not her parents had actually known what they might head themselves into, or know that they knew that they might die from something like a vial exploding in their faces.
"What I wouldn't do to see that day again..." (Y/N) muttered to herself, "I might have found out what they were up to."
The shaking cops were being sent inside now - and many people were praying for the lives of their fellow co-workers. Everyone here knew the danger of Arkham Asylum patients. It was hard to get into Arkham Asylum but if you did manage to land yourself a spot - it probably meant that you were beyond insane and incurable. Each one of those patients had the potential to raze Gotham to the ground.
The green lady (Y/N) had saw earlier walked out, swinging her hips seductively, as she hung several cops on vines emerging from the ground. She smirked mischievously as she swung them violently towards the wall and dropped them. After her short demonstration, everyone began to fire loud and hard on her, leaving (Y/N) still in an ambulance with a blanket over her shoulders. Had they totally forgotten about her?
David had already been driven out of the place - sent to a hospital for good measures. They were going to send her to a hospital too until the sudden shootings began to ring out. The lady had grown huge ginormous vines out of the ground, making the concrete crack upwards, and quickly swiped at all of the police cars to the side.
(Y/N) quickly cowered with her hands above her head as she saw the horrid sight of cars being flung into the air, cops being viciously tossed into the ground, and visibly flinched when she could hear the sound of bones cracking.
OH HECK NO. I did not sign up for this!
Soon enough the whole entire school front had been wiped of conscious cops, and (Y/N) swore that if she tried to make herself as small as possible that she wouldn't get noticed.
"Hello, little one."
Too afraid to look up, (Y/N) shrinks even smaller into her little protective ball. If she could decide anything, she would never attend this school ever again, or any school for that matter. She would just beg to be sent to an orphanage on another entire different planet - one that was completely empty and void of any organism.
