Caffeine
Several epidemiologic studies support the experimental
evidence that caffeine consumption has a protective effect
against skin cancer.87 Experimentally, both topical and
oral caffeine promote the apoptosis of the keratinocytes
irradiated with UV-B, which means that it could play a role
in preventing photocarcinogenesis.88
