The purified extract was resuspended in 0.4 mL of HPLC mobile phase. OTA determination was performed on an Agilent 1200 series HPLC system (Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, CA, USA) equipped with a quaternary pump with integrated vacuum degasser (G1311C), autosampler (G1329B), column oven (G1316A) and fluorescence detector (G1321A). The separation was performed on a Zorbax column SB-C18, 4.6 × 150 mm, 5-Micron (Agilent, Santa Clara, CA, USA), under isocratic conditions.
