Depot Supervisor

The Depot Supervisorwill be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and profitable delivery of shipments to customers through effective management of all inbound operations at the depot.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Management
• Monitor operational activities of shipments daily, ensuring adherence to the standard operating procedures
• Check daily loads at the depot and plan delivery schedules accordingly
• Conduct daily staff briefings for operational and route changes etc.
• Generate and maintain the MIS related to the Depot
• Handle all exception cases at the depot and communicate both internally and to customer for resolution and closure
• Cross check Cash-on-Delivery cash collected by delivery staff to the delivery sheet
• Conduct regular audits of deliveries and status updates to ensure accuracy of information flow to customers
People Management
• Provide direction, guidance and support to employees to help them discharge their duties effectively
