B.S. degree in plant breeding, biology, agronomy, genetics, molecular biology, or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Demonstrated knowledge of computer skills; Excel and databases.
Experience with applications of molecular marker technology applied to plant breeding, such as marker-assisted selection.
Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, as well as individually.
Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
Must be highly self-motivated, detail oriented, innovative, and have proven project management and organizational skills.
