This study aimed to analyze the impact of eprocurement system in PT. PLN (Persero). Impact analysis conducted by performing gap analysis between the practices before and after the implementation of eprocurement system showed that not all of the impacts identified in previous studies occurred in PT. PLN. Of the nine areas observed, three areas were highly affected by the impact of e-procurement system, namely: organizational characteristics, pre-sourcing of business
processes as well as the total cost of acquisition. Meanwhile areas such as governance structure, procurement quotation, order placement, and delivery were only slightly affected. In two other areas observed, negotiations and transactions, no impact of e-procurement implementation were found. These results indicated that e-procurement implementation in PT. PLN gave positive impacts for the organization and helped it to become good-corporate-governed SOE.
