Research topic is the sleep pattern of Prince of Songkla University, Phuket campus (PSU), Faculty of international studies (FIS) year1 students and the impact on their studies, in order to determine the fact that sleep less will affect negatively on the academic performance. The hypothesis is partially accepted because the GPA and hours of sleep has a very weak positive relationship, which might be because some students sleep late because of doing the works and studying. Therefore, sleeping longer is not necessarily contributed to GPA but it certainly does help to improve and maintain physical, mental and emotion well-being of students
