In regard to the deposits agency workers are paying:
How will you ensure going forward that the agency workers are not charging migrant workers unfairly?
Your feedback stated that the deposits will be refunded to the employees. How will you ensure this is repaid? Do you have a repayment plan in place? Or will you be urging the agency to pay these expenses?
In regard to the holding of passports:
We understand you want to keep the passports safe but it's important that each worker has access to their passport. For the workers who do not wish to keep their passports on them / at their accommodation and want to keep their passport at work, we suggest that the passports are kept in a locked room of which every worker has a key for, and that in that room there are locked lockers for each worker whereby their passport is kept. This way they can access their locker/passport in a secure way.
