Recently, nanoparticles as catalysts [12–15] have attracted much attention. As the particle size decreases, the relative number of surface atoms increases, and thus the activity in- creases. The high surface area material is of interest as catalyst and catalyst support. The sol-gel technique is advantageous in the synthesis of nano-sized materials because it has the ad- vantages of simple procedure, low crystallization temperature, and low cost [16–21].
