For more than five years ago, the government has adopted a policy to carry on business. The Thai government has the contest on each product. After that it has been publication around the region, which stimulate caused by a variety groups.as a result, each region will have a unique group it is the source of one tumbon one product (OTOP). Therefore, using history as a way of life and a product can be sold in domestic and foreign.
OTOP stands for ‘One Tambon (meaning sub-district) One Product’. It is a local entrepreneurship stimulus program which aims to support the unique locally made and marketed products of each Thai tambon all over Thailand.
Nowadays, there are many types of OTOP in Thailand. So we choose Mangosteen wine. Wine is the famous of Trat to export because management is a fruit that has a lot of output, then it makes a group of people bringing the remain of the fruit sold for processing to add value; it can also generate income for the community and reputation of the province. The villagers took mangosteen that it is a popular fruit of Thailand’s processed into wine and made it into the OTOP to respond the customers who like wine.
