Saga Dialect - 150523 Takarazuka Premiere
Daimon: There’s only one thing I know in the Saga dialect.
Chigi: How do you know?
Daimon: It was the only thing that Asaka Manato taught me.
Maakun: Why did I teach her that? *laughs*
By the way, what is the meaning of that phrase?
Daimon: To come this far by walking is amazing.
Maakun: In my Hanagumi days, during performances, there are things called parties (lit. banquets, feast, etc) right? I went by bicycle. But Nozomi Fuuto came by walking. And I said it was amazing that she came that far by walking in Saga dialect; she was very curious about it, telling me to teach her. After teaching her, she has always practiced it. It’s been about, maybe 10 years since then, but she still can say it.
Bonus: Mirion attempting to speak Saga dialect.
Notes:
Chigi and Tomomin are from Nagasaki and Saga respectively; Asaka Manato is also from Saga. Nagasaki and Saga border each other on Kyushu, the southern most of the 4 islands. As such, Chigi, Tomomin and Maakun are familiar with the Saga dialect, whereas Daimon (Yokohama) and Mirion (Kobe) are not.
