A member of our Facebook community sent us these photos along with the following message: My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 4. He is now 15 and trying to explore his independence. This has led to confusing days of: Did you take your Lantus? He says yes, I trust that and the next day he is sick with high blood sugar counts all day. We came up with this solution together. He's a real tech-savvy teen, so we used 7 of his cord holders to create a Sunday-Monday syringe holder. Since we put these up in the kitchen, we haven't missed a day of his long-acting insulin and spared a lot confusion. We thought this may be helpful to others.
