Please be noticed that we got so many reject for the e-Passport chip personalization rejected since October 27th around 20-25%. (Around 200 booklets were destroyed)
I just found out the root cause by this morning (Oct 28th). The problem is the chip is not yet writing the CPCL data into it.
So our chip perso module get error on “SET-SECURE” step. The symptom now happened in randomly.
Now we just adding 1 more manual station to writing the CPLC data on the rejected booklet. (Extra job for our personalization operators)
Regarding to the below discussion, The CPCL data will be done in IRIS pre-perso process. (not OP-Ready to OP-Ready)
How can we know that how many chips are not writing CPLC data ?
