In Fig.10 capacity required for cooling when external
temperature is 30 degrees C is about 2kW_and given
the JC08 mode running time being 20 minutes (1204
sec), the air conditioning workload required for the mode
running becomes 0.66kWh. If it can be used with battery
SOC range of 80%-30%_50% of the available battery
electric energy is used for air conditioning. It is more
apparent for heating due to lack of engine heat waste.
Impact of air conditioners on PHEV FE/gasoline is larger
than ordinary vehicles and cannot be ignored. It is
necessary to warn users.
