The thermal processes PbM and ZnM waste showed the higher
leachate concentration in most of the heavy metals (Fig. 5). The
leaching concentration of Zn in galvanizing waste were reported as
36 and 165 mg/L respectively by Singh et al. [49]. Ettler et al. [28]
reported the range between 360–136,200 mg Pb/kg, 1497–3034 mg
Zn/kg, 2008–6570 mg Cd/kg and 1.05–52 mg Cu/kg in PbM waste.
However we observed the range for APC residues present in various
PbM as 33.9–594 mg Pb/L, 8–387.5 mg Zn/L, 0–7.4 mg Cd/L and
0–2 mg Cu/L.
