I like this story most for its simple and satirical statement that occurred through the story. The story forcer the reader to critically about what “progress” entails and what may be lost in an attempt to acquire it. He uses a lot of satirical idea and situations. He also uses the setting in the city to portray that the taxi driver death of decency in the face of progress. The writer uses simple and common emotional language that we can see and hear in our daily life.
