We show that the temporal distribution of long duration GRB is consistenet with this model ang that it enables us to estimate the size of GRB progenitors. Next, we identify a group of low luminosity, smooth and soft GBR. We show that these GRB could not have arisen from a jet penetrating a stellar envelopes and that the observed emission arises from a shock break out of the failed relativistic jet. Remarkably most GRB associated with SNe are low luminosoty GRB. We examine the implications of this conclusion to the generally accepted GRB-SNe connection.
