Key Responsibilities:
The development of innovative & technically sound, functional food ingredient systems, with particular emphasis on:
Culinary Seasonings, herb & spices
Soup and noodle seasonings
Dry culinary sauce and gravy premixes.
Bakery seasonings
Dairy and non-dairy application work
To support all Kerry Accounts including
Food Manufacturing Companies
Retail
QSR
Preparation of customer samples
To develop a sound knowledge of Kerry yeast
To assist with customer in-plant trials
To assist with product presentations when required
To support the Profit improvement program
Develop strong customer relationships
To support other functions with Kerry as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Food Science Degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ work experience within the food industry
A sound knowledge of culinary ingredients such as; Ability to communicate in the English language
Soup and noodle bases
Herb and spice blends
Dry sauce premixes
Flavours and yeast extracts
Seasoning and ingredient for bakery applications
Seasonings and ingredients for ready meals
A “Do it now” attitude
Able to work individually or within a team environment
Enjoys a fast paced innovative and challenging environment
Proficient in Microsoft office programs
Ability to confidently communicate with customers and colleagues
Salary : specific or negotiate
