A dyeing process which includes two steps designed for
industrial applications. The first step is extraction step
and filtering pulps from dye extract; the second step is
fiber dyeing step. In extraction, all natural dye source
plants were added to the water at liquor ratio of 1–20.
Pulps reflux 1 h under the condenser for taking dye pigments
to the water phase. After optimum extraction time,
pulps were removed from the extract by filtering for
keeping fibers from contamination. After filtering, mordants
were added to the dye extract and stirred for dissolving
natural salt. Mordants were chosen from
nontoxic and ecological salts such as CaCO3, CaCl2,
Fe2SO4, and citric acid. After dissolving the salt, 10
grams of ecologic wool fiber added to the dye liquor and
boiled 1 h according to exhaustion dyeing method. At
the end of exhaust dyeing, ecologic wool washed with
olive soap and rinsed twice with water. Special softener
Midori AEX which is made from 100% renewable substances
based on groundbreaking source of bio-oil,
extracted from oil producing plants, and do not need
food producing land to proliferate, is used for all natural
dyeing process. All the dyeing experiments were
repeated thrice. The designed dyeing diagram is shown
