This lotion is unscented, meaning I didn’t add any essential oils for scent. But I called it Honey Butter because I tried adding honey this time (it helps your skin hold in moisture) and then it has shea and cocoa butters (shea is very softening, and cocoa is moisturizing). I have so far used it for one day, but I absolutely loved it!
I then made a more basic lotion to be more runny, to keep in a squirt bottle for heavy duty hand use. This one has more olive oil in it, because it is seems to penetrate more deeply. For this basic hand lotion I used:
1.1 oz coconut oil
.4 oz shea butter
.5 oz olive oil
.5 oz cocoa butter
Then after it was melted, I added 4 oz of water combined with 1/4 tsp of borax, and then added several drops of lavender essential oil.
