The determination of metal ions is an important research area due to their effects on life. Environmental resources containing some metal ions such as zinc [27], arsenic [28], mercury [29], chromium [30], lead [15] and cadmium [20] are a major problem for life. Furthermore presence of these metal ions may cause toxic and poisonous effects on human health [31]. Several literatures about the determination of cadmium ion were notified using different methods such as inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry [32], flame-atomic absorption spectrometry [33] and spectrophotometric method [34]. However these methods need expensive equipment, materials and also include time consuming extraction steps to eliminate the excipients, contaminants and interfering ions. But electrochemical methods are simpler, cheaper and also can solve these problems because of their high sensitivity and high speed of analysis advantages [35] and [36].
