This module deals with the concept of responsibility. Responsibility is divided into tow main kinds: individual and social responsibility. The individual responsibility is responsibility to oneself where as the social responsibility is responsibility to society. Individual responsibility is the foundation of all. The responsibility of business to society is called corporate social responsibility (CSR). All businesses have both positive and negative impact on society and environment. Therefore, according to stakeholder theory, they are requested to be responsible for both society and environment.
