because of the link between employee job stress and turnover intent. In other words, the emotional labor performed by employees of food-service enterprises in the course of performing their duties induces stress and this stress makes the employees feel mental and physical exhaustion thereby increasing the employees’ turnover intent. This result could also be identified as the mediating role of job stress.Employees were under mental stress when they were experiencing emotional labor in their duties and this stress had partial mediating effects of leading to turnover intent.
