Vitamin C or L-ascorbic acid is a water-soluble vitamin, meaning that your body doesn't store it. You have to get what you need from food, including citrus fruits, broccoli, and tomatoes. You need vitamin C as an antioxidant for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. It helps the body make collagen, an important protein used to make skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Vitamin C is needed for healing wounds, and for repairing and maintaining bones and teeth. It also helps the body absorb iron. Ascorbic acid is also widely used as a food additive, to prevent oxidation. This experiment presents Linear Sweep Voltammetry for the Analysis of Vitamin C from measurement concentration of difference samples by using glassy carbon electrode in electrochemical analysis. The samples are Tipco tamota & camu camu and Chabaa red & white grape juice. Two samples has difference amount of concentration from label beside the container. Run standard solution of ascorbic acid and compare with two samples from calibration graph.
