Doogh is an Iranian type of traditional fermented dairy based drink which is usually manufactured by
mixing water, salt, set or stirred yoghurt, as well as some aqueous extracts of local herbs (Azarikia, 2010;
Abbasi, 2010). Consumption of this drink is very common in Asia and there are clear differences between
Doogh (yoghurt based beverage) and similar products which are nowadays consumed in Europe due to
