ensity of the peaks by changing the doping value. SEM pictures of the powders made with different Ga doping ratios are shown in Fig. 3. The morphology clearly changes with Ga doping. Hexagonal rod-like large agglomerates were obtained for pure ZnO. A TEM image of the particles is shown in the inset of Fig. 3a.
The agglomerates size ranges from 10 to 20 lm. The hexagonal agglomerate is made of flakes. Doping ZnO with Gallium seems to suppress the growth of the host lattice crystallite where the large hexagonal rod-like particles are not seen any more in doped ZnO. All samples of the GZO powder are made of small elongated nanoparticles. The particle size of powder with Ga/Zn = 0.5 mol% ranges from 50 to 250 nm. The grain
