16. Does co-teaching work for high-ability students?
If there is an understanding or belief that high-ability students have exceptional
needs, then the answer may be yes. Unlike students with disabilities, there is no
mandate for a high-ability student to be instructed in a specific setting. The

school may wish to research the issue, discuss implementation and determine
the impact on all students. A discussion at the LEA level after careful reflection
and discussion would be appropriate.
