The results showed that 9 plants from the ‘Hawaii-30’ and ‘UC-01’
combination and all 10 plants from the ‘UC-01’ and ‘Hawaii-30’
combination, including a tetraploid plant (11), showed a complete
cross except for one plant (3) among the progenies of ‘Hawaii-30’and ‘UC-01’, which showed a band that was not present in the
parental lines. This band could be attributed to pollens accidentally
added to the mix with other pollens.
