The next time a big international star comes to Bangkok for a concert, an appearance at Hua Lamphong or the BTS Siam station might be a great promotion.
Yesterday, Sir Elton John, whose latest album Wonderful Crazy Night is being released today, paid a surprise visit to London’s St Pancras International station and played a piano for about three minutes for an enthusiastic crowd.
Shortly afterward, he posted a photo on his Instagram account, writing alongside the photo: “Surprise!! I popped into St Pancras International to christen the Yamaha piano which I donated to the station. Now everyone can have a play.” Commuters at the station were obviously surprised and delighted with the performance, a medley of his songs. They cheered and clapped as he arrived and after he finished.
