To study the regional culture style

To study the regional culture style, we should firstly
conduct an investigation on the culture, finding out the cause of
this unique culture, and finally extract symbols to represent the
cultural essence used to direct the working of the short film.
And the digital rendering is for consolidating the represent
ability of regional style. As showed in Fig.1, the procedures are
divided into four parts, the study of causes, the comparing of
cases, the analysis of the ethnic group and the working of the
short film. The study of causes is the basis of working, which
means investing the cultural custom and its space-time
dimensions. By comparing the cases, we can catalogue the
regional materials and extract four key points of design to
present regional culture. Based on these key points, after the
analysis of the ethnic group, the regional symbols can be
extracted. The whole procedures are called “symbolization of
the materials”, which can be used in the pre-production,
middle-production and post-production. Thus, short film of
regional animation style is from the live while above the live,
which is the miniature portrayal of the entire group.
