Plant growth regulators as an important endogenous
hormone are involved in many processes of plant
growth and development [7]. Indoleacetic Acid (IAA)
is the most common auxin in the higher plants, which
can promote cell division, cell elongation and cell
differentiation, and also affect the growth, mature and
aging of the nutritional and reproductive organs [8].
Naphthylacetic Acid (NAA) could improve seed
peroxidase and catalase activity, integrity of the cell
membrane, seed germination rate and promote the
difficult-rooting plant to germinate [9]. However, no
information on the effect of IAA or NAA on seed
germination of J. mimosifolia is available according to
the current research status.
