The SFA has been used to help victims of bullying by using a “no blame” approach (Young & Holdorf, 2003). “No blame” methods mean that the bullying problem is discussed in a non-judgmental way, providing support to bulled children. At the same time, using a no-blame culture is important for the sake of the bullies because there is evidence to suggest that bullies are victims themselves (Ma,2001; Unnever,2006), although the relationship between the two is not always easily distinguished (Sol-berg & Olweus,2003).
