Step 1: title: The Lahti file writer: Richard MacAndrew pages: 64
Step 2:
1. Ian Munro is sent to Finland by his boss: Naylor, because there are some strange deaths and he has to meet Pentti Virolainen, who knows very useful information about the mysterious deaths. When he arrives on meeting place, the weird is that there’s nobody. Then he hears quick footsteps after him, when he turns around he sees Virolainen chased by someone. He hears a shot and the contact person is dead. He goes back to his hotel and waits for new orders from Naylor. In the hotel is a girl. Her name is Riita Koivisto. They have a conversation and she asks many questions, but Munro discovers she works for a company called Bioratkaisut. He goes back his room. After a while someone knocks on the door. It’s Koivisto and she has something to drink with her and Munro drinks it. The next morning Munro wakes up with a terrible feeling. When he stands up he sees that his room was searched by someone. He gets the from Naylor the instruction to meet a new contactperson: Sirpa Virolainen. When he want to get to her he realised is being followed. When he has shaken off his pursuers, he gets to hear all the information. After getting Sirpa safe, he gets captured by Jorma Lappalainen. They fight against each other. Lappalainen is losing, but he drinks a very toxic poison and dies.
The writer don’t mention when the story takes place, but I think it’s somewhere in the summer of 2002 because Munro has a cellphone.
2.The headperson of the story is Ian Munro. Munro is an Englishman. He is a spy for England. His boss is Naylor. The writer doesn’t say how old he is, but I think he’s about thirty till forty years old.
